Photocopy Submission Information :
When submitting a research proposal to any funding agency PIs will submit a photocopy of the entire research proposal along with an SRA ProSum* form to the IACUC Sponsored Research Analyst (SRA), IACUC Office, 300 George St., 6th Floor. Proposals will be archived for subsequent review.

After receiving a fundable priority score or notice of award, PIs will send a Request for Research Proposal/ IACUC Protocol Review form to the SRA at IACUC@Yale.edu or mail to 300 George St., 6th Floor, to the attention of the SRA.

The PHS required review will occur when the IACUC SRA receives a Request for Research Proposal/ IACUC Protocol Review** form.

The take home message:

Mail a copy of all submitted proposals to the SRA at 300 George St., 6th Floor, along with an SRA ProSum forms. Upon receipt of a fundable score or notice of award, submit a Request for Research Proposal/ IACUC Protocol Review form to the SRA at IACUC@Yale.edu or mail to 300 George St., 6th Floor, to the attention of the SRA.
Following review the SRA will notify PIs, grants and contracts of the approval date for the proposal.

*It is important to fill out the SRA ProSum form completely, if PIs do not wish to associate the proposal with any of their current protocols please place N/A in the protocol number space on the SRA ProSum form.

**It is important to note that emailing or sending a photocopy of the proposal and SRA ProSum is not the trigger for review to occur. The proposals will be archived until a Request for Research Proposal/IACUC Protocol Review form is received by the SRA. The request for review will be sent by the PI upon receipt of a notification of award or receipt of a fundable priority score.
